Station Manager: Meredith Mattlin
Office Hours: 1-2pm Wednesday
Hi everyone! I’m Meredith, and I’m studying Medicine, Health, & Society and Film. I serve as WRVU’s Station Manager! This role means I oversee all the operations of the station: I direct an awesome executive staff, help our Program Director with the blog, coordinate/conduct interviews, film in-studio sessions, help develop the radio station’s ethos alongside our many talented DJs, and make this place a resource and community for music lovers in Nashville. I also have a show called “Little Pharma” on Sundays at 5pm CST whose obnoxious name is loosely based on a residual pseudo-angst against the wrath of real-life Big Pharma (and a very real reliance on its whim)–as well as a reflection of my interest in studying the medical world, which I do in my academic life. God, sorry, I need to chill, right? That’s what this show’s about. Or not. Who knows. We’re all just figuring stuff out. I play a lot of angry melancholy post-punk stuff (basically post-anything; I hear millennials love that) and sadboy jams even though I hate the term “sadboy.” If you ever want to hang or read me cryptic messages or complain about life’s troubles, feel free to stop by my office hours.

Programming Director: Morgan Levy
Office Hours: 11:10am-12:10pm Friday
My name is Morgan Levy and I’m WRVU Nashville’s Programming Director. I’m a Junior from Charlotte, NC studying Civil Engineering. This is my third year rockin’ the E-Airwaves with WRVU and I’m so excited to be leading the staff writing for the blog and schedule maintenance for the station. If you like going to shows stop by my office hour and we can talk music, movies, art and upcoming concerts.

Music Director: Nick Markman
Office Hours: 2:30-3:30pm Wednesdays
What’s good? I’m a junior from Laguna Beach, CA studying Psychology, Music History/Literature, and Corporate Strategy. I’m incredibly happy to have been part of the WRVU family since my freshman year, and beyond thrilled to be serving as a Music Director for the first time. Most of the music I like is experimental, psychedelic, and/or abrasive, but I’ve got appreciation and attention to detail for just about all music. When I’m not DJing and passionately crafting our rotation lineup, you might find me at Percy Warner or Centennial Park.

Online Director: Duncan Flippo
Office Hours: 2-3pm Wednesday
Hey there, I’m a Senior from Charlotte, North Carolina studying Computer Science and Philosophy. I love hiking and fly fishing but also movies and video games. I spend a lot of time listening to music and what I like always changes, but right now I’m big on indie rock and some rock/reggae fusion (see Slightly Stoopid). I’m looking forward to a great year as the web director for WRVU.
Music Director: Bo Kennedy
Office Hours: 6-7pm Wednesdays
My name’s Bo Kennedy, and I’m a music director for WRVU. Swing by my office hour at 6 pm on Wednesday to discuss hip-hop or anything at all. I’m a senior who has been a part of the station since I started my Vanderbilt career. I’m a huge Nashville Predators fan. There was no song of the summer 2017, because Calvin Harris is a hack (even if he managed to get frank ocean, quavo, and offset on a track).

Video Director: Stefano Scotti
Office Hours: 7-8pm Mondays
Oh hey, didn’t see you there. I’m Stefano, a junior from Mountain View, California currently studying Anthropology and Human & Organizational Development. I currently oversee and make videos and other media for the station. I’m also the host of Stef Sounds, where I play all things pop for my avid listeners (typically my extended family). Come by my office hours if you’re interested in video making or want to chat about the Beach Boys.

Podcast Director: Alec Rothschild
Office Hours: 12-1pm Tuesdays
Oh hey guys, sup. My name is Alec and I’m the podcast director this year at WRVU. I’m a senior studying Cognitive Studies and Religious Studies. I’ve been a homie of the station for four years now and am excited to be on e-staff! Shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want your own podcast 😉
Marketing and Outreach Director: Dylan DePriest
Office Hours: 1pm-2pm Thursdays
Hey nerdz!1! I’m a sophomore from Rhode Island currently majoring in HOD and Econ. I’m so pumped to be the Marketing & Outreach director this year. I host “Preacher’s Son” every thursday night at 8:00pm, chock full of indie, folk, hip hop, and existential dread™. Feel free to stop by my office hours anytime if you want to talk about music, vent, or tell me whether or not you think pigeons have feelings.

Training Director: Kristen Tran
Office Hours: 11am-12pm Thursdays
Howdy, I’m Kristen! I’m a junior from Texas majoring in Economics and minoring in American Studies and Financial Economics. I’ve been in WRVU since my freshman year, and I am so hyped to add new members to this great organization as Training Director! One of my favorite lyrics is “Sharp as a tack, but in the sense that I’m not smart, just a prick” from “The Old Gospel Choir” by Modern Baseball. My favorite type of rock is pyrite. Feel free to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or swing by my office hours if you’re interested in becoming a WRVU DJ!
Executive Coordinator: Jason Vincze
Office Hours: 10-11am Monday
Knock, knock. Who’s there? It’s me, Jason. I’m an Economics Major and FNEC Minor (classic) with a passion for music and film. When I’m not slaving away at learning about complex economic theory, I serve as the Executive Coordinator for WRVU. What exactly does that mean? Scientists aren’t entirely sure, but it may involve starting fires on the airwaves and at Executive Staff meetings. On my show, Radio JOHN, I spin retro tunes and read poetry. Sorry, ladies, but I’m not single. You, along with my mother, can catch a piece of me on Sundays at 7.
Music Director: Madeline Goetz
Office Hours: 12:30-1:30 Friday
Greetings, fellow humans. My name is Madeline Goetz, and I am a senior from Ottawa, Illinois double majoring in Political Science and Creative Writing. I am one of the Music Directors for WRVU! When I’m not listening to political podcasts, I like indie rock and classical rock and pet rocks. https://www.youtube.
