Turkey Jerky Jam Artist Highlight: SPIRIT WEEK

Spirit Week is on facebook, just like you.

Spirit Week is on facebook, just like you.

WRVU’s Turkey Jerky Jam artist highlight continues with Spirit Week. We are very excited about these people. Elated, in fact. You will see just why they are so praiseworthy in person at The End on Thursday night, but in order to satisfy your pre-show jitters, sprinkle your ears with the sweet jams they have on their bandcamp.

These talented folks are from Bowling Green, Kentucky, and are making their way to Nashville just for you. With lots of new music to show that’s yet to be released, Spirit Week has an incredibly dynamic and developed sound cultivated through meticulously created songs. Their compelling tunes are simultaneously flowy and lucidly cozy–somehow gently confrontational in the best possible way. Check out “Bathsheba” and “Rocking Chair.”

Each part of every track works together delicately and symphonically; there’s subtlety in their impressively thorough, full layers. Needless to say, you should come see this magic live on Thursday night (they’ll be gracing The End third in the lineup, details of which are on the facebook event).
