Turkey Jerky Jam Artist Highlight: THE PILLS

The Pills (from their facebook page).

If you haven’t already heard the word around the block, WRVU is hosting a show at The End on November 3rd at 8 pm (7 pm doors). We wanted to highlight the artists gifting us with their presence, and first up is: THE PILLS.

Hailing originally from Bloomington, IN, these talented folks now call Nashville home. Their wavy tunes are somehow both upbeat and pleasantly ethereal, with both garage and psychedelic elements. Moon shoes underwater.

Their sound is both new and sunnily familiar, something fun and nostalgic. Listen to what they’ve got going on on their bandcamp, and be sure to stay for their set at The End on 11/3 (they’ll be playing last).

Song highlights: “Sanctuary,” “Half Blind”
